Asterix Reinforced Limited is an ISO 9001:2015 certified, PLC controlled, semi-automatic resin, SMC and composites manufacturing company based in Mumbai, India, having multiple manufacturing facilities located at Silvassa (D&NH) and Murbad (District Thane, Maharashtra), India. Asterix started out as a trading company in petrochemicals and polyester resins in early 2007 and slowly ventured into manufacturing of unsaturated polyester resin under the name of Bombay Highpolymer Chemical Products Limited or BHCP as it was popularly known. With the interest and demand for polyester based composites growing, and to expand into new, but related products, the company decided to go in for forward integration. It setup an SMC manufacturing unit along with SMC moulding to cater to this ever growing industry. The company changed its name from – Bombay Highpolymer Chemical Products Limited , to Asterix Reinforced Limited in late 2016,
