Asterix Reinforced Limited is an ISO 9001:2015 certified, PLC controlled, semi-automatic resin, SMC and composites manufacturing company based in Mumbai, India, having multiple manufacturing facilities located at Silvassa (D&NH) and Murbad, India.

Asterix started out as a trading company in petrochemicals and polyester resins in early 2007 and slowly ventured into manufacturing of unsaturated polyester resin under the name of Bombay Highpolymer Chemical Products Limited or BHCP as it was popularly known.

With the interest and demand for polyester based composites growing, and to expand into new, but related products, the company decided to go in for forward integration. It setup an SMC manufacturing unit along with SMC moulding to cater to this ever growing industry.

The company changed its name from – Bombay Highpolymer Chemical Products Limited , to Asterix Reinforced Limited in late 2016, to portray to the world that it had now upgraded itself and entered the world of composites.

Asterix has expanded its facilities over the years from a small manufacturing company having a single manufacturing location manufacturing standard product, to multi-location manufacturing facilities catering to a diverse clientele with specialized needs.

Asterix believes product development and upgradation are integral to be the most preferred supplier for our customers, and thus invests substantially in new technologies and R&D.

The foundation of the company with all its product a process is based on a singular focus of customer satisfaction, whether it is an internal or external customer . All processes are designed and product flow is managed such that there is minimum down time of product during manufacture and value addition occurs at every step of the process.
